acceptable use

vetra exists to help two people prove work got done. that's a good use of the tool. here are the things vetra is notfor, and the behaviors we'll suspend accounts over.

don't use vetra to verify these things

  • medical advice or records.we are not a healthcare platform. don't use vetra to verify medical procedures, diagnoses, prescriptions, or therapeutic protocols.
  • legal advice. use a lawyer.
  • financial credentials.bank statements, tax returns, social security numbers, account credentials. don't ask for these via vet.
  • identity documents.passports, driver's licenses, government ids — these belong on dedicated kyc platforms with the right legal framework, not on a public verification surface.
  • minors-only verification.we don't support flows where the recipient is under 13.

don't do these things on vetra

  • harassment.sending repeated unwanted vets to someone who's told you to stop.
  • impersonation.claiming to be someone you're not in your sender display name, photo, or vet content.
  • illegal content. evidence depicting illegal acts, csam, threats, or content that violates third-party intellectual property.
  • fraud.using vetra to fabricate proof of work that didn't happen, or to coerce payment for work that wasn't done.
  • spam.sending vets in bulk to people who haven't opted in. (legitimate bulk-send to your own clients is fine — that's a paid pro feature.)
  • circumvention. attempting to bypass our security controls, rate limits, or verification mechanisms.

enforcement

we review reports as they come in. depending on severity we may: warn the account, remove specific content, suspend the account temporarily, or terminate it permanently. we'll notify the account owner of any enforcement action by email and explain the reason where it's safe to do so.

reporting abuse

email abuse@sendavet.to with the link to the vet or artifact, your relationship to it, and what specifically you're reporting. we'll acknowledge within two business days.
